Part 2: Phone Installation

Enable Developer Mode, trust SideStore, and open the app.

Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
  4. Tap Developer Mode.
  5. Turn on the Developer Mode switch.
  6. Read the warning and tap Restart to continue.

Your iPhone will restart. This is expected because Developer Mode needs to be enabled before apps installed outside the App Store can run.

Step 2: Trust the Developer App

  1. After your iPhone restarts, open Settings again.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Scroll down and tap VPN & Device Management.
  4. Under the Developer App section, tap the Apple Account that you used in iLoader.
  5. Tap Trust and then tap Allow & Restart if your iPhone asks you to confirm.
  6. Enter your iPhone passcode if you are asked for it.

This allows the SideStore app installed with your Apple Account to open on your iPhone.

Step 3: Set Up LocalDevVPN

  1. Before opening SideStore, download LocalDevVPN from the App Store.
  2. Open LocalDevVPN and turn it on.

* LocalDevVPN does not affect your phone's regular internet traffic. It is only used by SideStore and is required for many of its critical functions, including logging in and sideloading apps.

Step 4: Open SideStore

  1. Read the title. (Brain required.)

SideStore is now installed on your phone. The next page explains how to finish configuring it.
